I've been in IT for 37 years so have a pretty good handle on it, but sure I could be missing something simple.Į) and this is the kicker - once I leave VM and go back to the Host, the driver in the device manager there has disappeared. In my case it is the Inbuilt webcam that is the issue.ī) it will does not appear in the Device Manager as a deviceĬ) when trying to Connect it seems to try for a while then issues the message saying Unsuccessfulĭ) trying to get the webcam even to appear in the device manager in VM, I just cannot seem to achieve that. Some good stuff, however not related to my issue I don't think but more to external USB connected devices. I have read with interest the link you sent. Anyway sorry about that, just frustrated I guess. It started out as one topic and then moved to another due to the nature, being more specifically related to the inbuilt webcam.
